pychecker software package provides tool to find common bugs in Python source code, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pychecker
pychecker is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pychecker package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pychecker *
You will get with pychecker package name, version, architecture and description in a table
